Leath, Page elected to YSS board

Janet Leath and Jon page were recently elected as a trustees of the Youth & Shelter Services Foundation Board of Trustees.  

 

Leath, the wife of Iowa State University President Steve Leath, is a State Farm Insurance Agent. Reverend Page is the minister of the United Church of Christ located on the corner of Sixth Street and Kellogg Avenue in downtown Ames.

 

The Leaths have two children, Eric and Scott, and she enjoys gardening, horseback riding and growing Christmas trees. YSS had its birth on the ISU Campus 35 years ago and has expanded to 20 locations serving over 5,000 troubled children and youth statewide.

 


Page is a Harvard and Yale graduate and moved to Ames from Boston last August. Page also serves on the YSS Diversity Task Force, Friends Committee and Public Policy Committee.
